LSPedia is launching a pilot program to define a path toward compliance with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), enacted in 2011 with a compliance deadline of January 20, 2026. Despite clear legislative requirements, the path to compliance is uncertain due to ongoing development in data interoperability, technology standards, and roles and responsibilities across the global food supply chain.
The Food Pilot program will convene a working group to discuss and create system-agnostic, actionable findings. The goal is to design or adapt best practices from related industries to address FSMA compliance challenges, ensuring the secure, expedient, and compliant flow of products to end users.
